ModChat 024 - Homebrew OG Xbox Live, NES Classic Modded, 3DS SoundHax & SigHax

In this episode of ModChat we plan to talk about the rumblings of a homebrew revival of the original Xbox Live which is planned to work for original Xbox games on the Xbox AND Xbox 360, the recent discovery of the NES Classic being modded, and new exploits announced and released for the 3DS such as SoundHax and SigHax! The latter of which has been stated to be the end of the 3DS with it being something that Nintendo will not be able to fix. Crazy stuff, man!

ModChat 020 - Emulators on Xbox One, HENkaku Updates, VR Experiences

In this episode of ModChat one of the things we look into is the recent release of emulators on the Xbox One console. This includes the HTML5 in browser version of NESBOX as well as Win64e10! HENkaku also received many updates to it on the Vita, in addition to us seeing releases such as Vitamin and other projects like fan undubs of games being released. Although it is a bit of a tangent, we also discuss VR headsets coming out and our experiences with virtual reality overall in today's gaming generation.

ModChat 019 - Cobra Blackfin, HENkaku, & Throwback Modifications!

In this episode of ModChat - WE'RE LIVE!!!! At least we were live, if you're reading this then that means you're viewing and listening to the completed livestream. We attempted to finally take ModChat live and ended up knocking out two things with that - Livestreaming and facecams! As we have said in multiple episodes: We want your feedback and do take the time out to read and listen to it all, we're just a tad bit slow at implementing. Many people have wanted livestreams but perhaps the most requested addition has been facecams.

Unless there is an overwhelming objection to the decision being made, this will most likely be the new format of the show in which we do a livestream of it on YouTube. That livestream will consist of topics we already have but we will also be dedicating a portion of each episode to answering questions in the chat section.

Some of the topics we discuss in this one include: Cobra Blackfin for Vita, HENkaku for Vita (and perhaps PS4), Xbox 360 drive flashing, and much more!

Of course we're always looking for improvements and constructive criticisms, so if you all have any ideas or topics you would like us to tackle please let us know!

ModChat 018 - Troubleshooting & Repair Experiences

In this episode of ModChat - We kick off with a name change to the YouTuber formally known as Dopesoner, who is also formally known as thedopesoner930, who is now referred to as ModBot. No change in the lineup, just a change in name! Branching off from material not covered in episode 017, here we discuss our experiences in troubleshooting and repair techniques. This involves what our thought process is, what we normally try, and what we have learned from experience. A lot of troubleshooting and repair also comes from former experience, so we try to address that towards any newcomers who don't have any previous repair experience!

In this monthly episode of ModChat, we are joined by the usual suspects Danny (MrMario2011) and Daniel (Dopesoner) for their memories and dangerous adventures into the world of software and hardware modding resulting in times which have destroyed hardware. Although the duo has had a fair bit of successful projects, they were not reached without stumbling over quite a few failed projects and events.
